A/C Flexible Duct And Spa Deck Work

Flexible Duct And Spa Deck work continues

Well This post includes some AC Duct upgrades and the hot tub deck, Last year the deck was built for the hot tub, the tub was removed for the winter, before I set it back up I decided to add a roof and treat the pressure treated wood which I always like to dry out before adding sealer, etc. along with that it needed a roof plus an awning for some rain protection for the outside seats at the bar area.

Not related to the deck I went into the attic and replaced the A/C flexible vent hoses that have been there since the 80’s. This needed to be addressed because in the summer attic heat had condensation water forming and drops were failing into the 2 rooms upstairs, one vent was over my bed which hit me in the face at night on occasion. The colder weather outside is the time to go up there to do this kind of work. I added more insulation on top of the metal boxes and will see how this works out when the summer heat arrives again, I already added a exhaust fan 2 years ago which helped somewhat.

I did not want to make 2 posts so this has both pictures of the attic and the deck with a roof and awning.
