Time to Replace Kitchen Door
Over the years this house had doors that were very short by today’s standards, most doors now come 80″ tall. This back door off the kitchen was only 74″ tall. Not only was it short it was warped really bad, when it was closed it hung out at the top 1/2″ as well as the bottom, very old and not designed to be an exterior door.
I’ve replaced doors in the past but this one was the toughest one I have ever done, the door frame was not square and level in any direction! On the positive side when I cut open the drywall over the old door it was clear and nothing there to prevent me from going up to the new 80″ height.
