Missing HVAC Vent
Okay I get it the house was built before electric and plumbing however at some point the owner decided to install a bathroom upstairs, so I am not sure which came first the heating and air conditioning or the bathroom, in any case the bath had no HVAC vent, it was cold in the winter and hot in the summer, now that the weather has cooled in the attic I decided to go up there and tap into the 6′” flex and add a tee to pipe the air into the bath.
Note the “logs” running across the ceiling, also the upstairs ceiling is solid wood about 5/8″ thick and 20″ wide nailed to the logs with handmade blacksmith nails, the large boards also were cut at a sawmill, they have the sawmill blade marks on them.
