Den Facelift and Repaint: Transforming the Space with Bead Board, White Outlets, and New Décor

A much needed den facelift and repaint, Now that the temperatures outside has risen it’s nice to work inside with the AC. With help from my son we added bead board to the lower half of the wall and replaced the ivory outlets with new white ones. Repainted the walls and all the trim was repainted white. New curtains and rugs have really improved this space.

Completed Sidewalk Rebuild and Future Home Improvement Projects

The sidewalk rebuild has been completed, I lost count on how many 80lb bags of cement were used but it was a lot. The walkway that was here was getting consumed by the earth as you can see from one older picture I took before I started, now it’s raised up higher than the ground level which will help with heavy rain that use to push soil over the walkway.

The guest house sidewalk also needs to be replaced up to the fire pit however it is not a big priority at this time. The next priority will be the main house heating and cooling system which has cost over $300 per month to cool the house.
