As the major work continues into December I am more than ready to do something else other than working in the guest house however I can really see the improvements coming, also it really needed work. The problems were hidden and most of the repairs I made cannot be seen because they are below the floor. What can be seen is the washer and dryer have moved to a small area off the bedroom which freed up some space in the kitchen and allowed the fridge to be moved to where the washer was.
I’ve attached some fine plumbing they ran up the wall to the washer, not surprised with everything I’ve seen over the years. Still scratching my head that they can take a 8″ x 8″ floor joist and cut the ends down to a 2″ x 4″ size.
I am laying down flooring in the kitchen that required a flooring nailer, so not owning one it was cheaper to buy one than rent one, I can sell it at a later date but will need it in the den later.
