A Look Back at Improvements
Hard for me to believe I’ve been here since late 2018, I know where the time went, it was spent working on making this house function again! To start with I had no water! Pipes were broken everywhere! I remember going around with a hacksaw and installing cut-off valves at every water path that was busted so I could get 1 toilet to work!
I have to say in the beginning I was overwhelmed and thought I took on too much work. It would have been better to have someone here to help me but at that time I was on my own. I managed it and put my mind to it, determined not to fail. besides the house was paid for and I had lots of time being retired at 62. Later Karen would move here from Texas as we had been in touch for some time now.
I’ve put together some side by side photos dating back to 2018 to reflect on. Now that it’s 2022 and cold out we’ve pretty much stopped work and are enjoying a break.

I know it was a lot of hard work…but so worth it, just wonderful…..you ought to have your own show on HGTV…smiles
